Namakkal Government Medical College Hospital

The hospital started a 100-bed COVID ward during the pandemic, and while adequate oxygen support was available in this ward, in the form of oxygen concentrators, unreliable power supply meant that power back- up was urgently required, to operate the concentrators and other vital equipment without any disruptions.

The hospital’s Dean and special officer, Dr Santha Arulmozhi, approached Help to Breathe with the request for Diesel Generator. Help to Breathe sought the help of our partner, Aqua group, Coimbatore, who made the donation within a day, with the generator reaching the hospital within four days of request.
